Our next Developer Livestream now has a scheduled date! Join the regular panel of Jorg, Seb, and Martial plus special guests on Wednesday, April 15 at 10:30am Pacific time (1730 UTC) for a discussion about future development of MSFS and answers to many questions from the community. Thank you to everyone who pre-submitted questions over the past few weeks; we are currently collating all your submissions and preparing responses to the most frequently asked questions. Also, if you missed the opportunity to submit a question in advance, you can still ask a question to the panel live during the broadcast via Twitch chat. Be sure to follow our official Twitch channel if you’re not already so you’ll receive a notification when the broadcast starts.

The dev team remains hard at work on Sim Update 5 with a release target planned for later this month. As always, we caution that this is a target only and not a locked-in promise. We will not launch SU5 until we are confident it is in a great state and will be well-received by simmers on all platforms. SU5 will include hundreds of bug fixes and other improvements and also introduce the highly-anticipated PSVR2 feature for Sony PlayStation 5 users.

Public beta testing for SU5 remains ongoing with Monday’s release of the 1.7.17.0 test build. In case you missed it, you can read the release notes for this build on our forums here. Also, for those participating in the beta, please be sure to vote in our forum surveys here.

Community Fly-In Friday

We’re off to the sunny and beautiful South Pacific this week for a tour of Fiji! This archipelago nation consists of over 300 islands, and our flight will visit the two largest and most populous: Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

For the best experience, MSFS (2020) players should install the FREE World Update 13: Oceania from the in-sim Marketplace.

Optional Payware Add-on: Participants may also choose to purchase the NFFN Nadi International Airport add-on by developer iniBuilds from the in-sim Marketplace (currently discounted by -20% off as part of the Marketplace Spring Sale). This purchase is entirely optional and is not required to join this fly-in.
