The Hawker 800XP is a midsize twin-engine business jet produced by Hawker Beechcraft of the United States. The 800XP is crewed by two and can accommodate up to ten passengers.

 

The 800XP is an advanced member of the Hawker 800 line, which Hawker Beechcraft based off the British Aerospace BAe 125 (originally the Hawker Siddeley DH.125), one of the world’s earliest business jets. The prototype of the 800 family took its maiden flight on June 26, 1983 and the first serial production models entered service in 1984. Several improved iterations followed, with the company introducing the 800XP into commercial service in 1995.

The 800XP boasts several upgrades over earlier models in the family, notably more powerful engines, improved avionics, refined aerodynamics, and extended usable cabin space. With an intuitive cockpit based on an advanced integrated flight system and precision controls, the 800XP quickly proved to be an aviator favorite. The capable and versatile jet has served the needs of businesses, jet charter services, individuals, and militaries throughout the world for more than three decades. The Hawker 800XP measures 51 feet, 2 inches in length, stands 17 feet, 7 inches tall, and has a wingspan of 51 feet, 5 inches. The jet is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-5BR turbofan engines that each produce up to 4,660 pounds of thrust. The Hawker 800XP has a range of 2,450 miles, a service ceiling of 41,000 feet, and a climb rate of 3,100 feet per minute. The jet cruises at 460 miles per hour, stalls at 106 miles per hour, and has a top speed of 525 miles per hour.
